"In the West European culture we define a “room” as something private, something safe, something that we own and where we can freely express ourselves. Separated by walls, ceilings, floors and doors, we often forget the fundamental: that every room is only a component of a complex habitat, a whole living environment. The destruction and pollution of our planet is affecting our whole fragile ecosystem. The Amazon Rainforest is often called the "Lungs of the World” and together with other rainforest regions, it is the heart of nature conservancy discussions. The destruction of the rainforest is the root of many problems like abnormal water circulation, the greenhouse effect, extinction of indigenous cultures, the loss of faunal biodiversity, etc. All rainforests are crucial for the preservation of the limited, drinkable and fresh water resources. As a matter of urgency, we have to realize that the whole earth is our home."

WE DON'T OWN THIS LAND, WE BELONG TO IT!
