Detailed Indian ink drawings are the trademark of Frau Meier‘s work. These drawings are characterized by a special way of designing, using means of pointillist and dotting. Optical precision is reconciled with organic inaccuracy.
Based on intensive visual studies of real conditions, she forms her pictures. And by using the stylistic device of the exaggerated representation, she converts the seen into the grotesque.
Mostly sociocritically questioned, Frau Meier depicts things in a partly humorous, partly absurd way.
