Kampf der Künste - Poetry Slam

Kampf der Künste is Germany’s largest poetry slam organizer, attracting up to 50,000 visitors a year. They dish a variety of slam formats and are guests at the most renowned theaters in Hamburg such as the “Deutsches Schauspielhaus”, the “Ernst Deutsch Theater”, the “Thalia Theater”, the “Laeiszhalle”, and many more. Their largest coup to date is the world record slam at the “Trabrennbahn Hamburg”, which brought in over 5,000 guests.

Aside from the big stage, Kampf der Künste is also involved in small clubs, where they actively promote young talent with a focus on individuals under 20. The poets have – with the right talent – the chance to fast track from the underground into the limelight. Kampf der Künste cooperates with Hamburg institutions like the “Bucerius Kunst Forum”, the “Literaturhaus Hamburg” and NGOs like “Viva con Agua” and “Hinz und Kunzt”.
