Mik Rahner, born in Munich in 1970, grew up in a family of artists and is the 4th generation devoted to painting. At the age of twelve, he attended his first drawing and painting courses, and in the early 1980s, he was captivated by graffiti art. Since then his street artwork has become part of the cityscape. Since obtaining his diploma in Communication Design in 1996, he worked as a designer and director in the motion design industry. In 2002, he moved to Hamburg where two years later, he co-founded the design studio Emmar. For the Millerntor Gallery #6, he joins forces with his wife Manou Rahner and motion designer and VJ Carsten Schmidt (schmidt8.net).
