Abie Franklin

Taking a walk in our own body, revolving around the definition of meat: between vivid vitality and vulnerability of the whole body. The work plays with the inversion of interior and exterior worlds and swallows the viewer into its porous surface. Abie Franklin is fascinated by the idea of a body whose origins might be natural yet is transformed into an estranged mass. Both worlds are inseparably merged, much like our body with the environment.
