Colectivo Licuado und Alfafa

Eight years ago, the Uruguayan artists Florencia and Camilo began to paint murals in the streets of Montevideo. Later they began to explore new horizons in other countries in South America, Europe and Asia. In their paintings, the duo combine the place, the local culture, the aesthetics and the customs. In terms of technique, they are influenced by classic art and its characteristics of composition, lighting, poses and clothing. Observing the use of symbolism in art they are inspired by mythologies and stories which they transform into a new contemporary vision. Their art is about cultural diversity, women and inspiring stories that belong to the place. In this way the population of the environment feels identified with the work.
