Label - Platform - Network As a style of electronic music, Drum and Bass was also born in urban communities, in this case mainly in England. In those rather small spaces, a quick exchange of ideas is possible, and the diversity inspires further developments. That is what happened when Jamaican influences hit the UK rave culture and in turn spawned a new culture that has found fans around the globe. Urban Wildlife has understood this, and we see ourselves as a connecting link in the chain between various subcultures. We do not stay inside the boundaries of a particular scene. We think outside the box and in addition to promoting music at 175 beats per minute, we connect a lot of artists. Parties, exhibitions, art shows, stage sets or even panels. What matters to us is added value, not in the monetary sense, but in the cultural sphere, because culture builds bridges and acts as a universal language which brings people together. It also has the power to advance social processes. Urban Wildlife does not only reflect the depths of sociological and philosophical research. We love to create ecstatic moments, seek artists and provide space and access to listeners and create new fans. Since 2016 we have been organizing events and have created label compilations with artists from all over the world. Since the beginning of 2018, we have been focusing on singles of individual artists from the entire spectrum of Drum and Bass. We connect musicians and other artists and create common unique cover artworks. Our vision for the future is to continue publicizing our favourite music and work on a number of projects collaborating with organizations such as the Millerntor Gallery in Hamburg or the Urban Wildlife Arts Shows @Waagenbau. Stay tuned and see what the future holds for you!
